WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko will make the first defense of his belt against mandatory challenger Juan Carlos Gomez from Cuba. The 12 round title affair will take place at the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer Halle in Stuttgart, Germany, March 21, 2009. The bout will air live on ESPN at 5 p.m. ET.
